For five years straight, the Owczarek breed of dog was chained up and unable to roam free.
One day, luck finally smiled upon him when the Michelson Found Animals organization found out about him and decided to help. Herschel was taken away from his owner and given the proper care he needed. Finally, the dog received what he had been desperately seeking.
Herschel is now finally enjoying life as the workers in the organization made an effort to find his dream family. They got in touch with Rocky Kanaka, who is a host of the show called “Dog’s Day Out” and an advocate for animal rights. He records episodes with dogs and shares them online, thereby helping them find forever homes.
Rocky Kanaka decided to create the best day ever for a shepherd dog. Herschel experienced snow for the first time and fell in love with it. The episode featuring the shepherd dog was a hit and attracted numerous people who were eager to adopt him. After receiving several applications, the perfect family was selected for Herschel.
While on the way to his new home, something incredible happened to Rocky and his German Shepherd. They were headed to Los Angeles to live with his new family when they decided to take a break by the ocean. That’s when something extraordinary occurred.
